Bailout plan

Not sure how many, if anyone is following or reading my blogs. If you are, thank you and welcome. If you are not - guess you will miss this one?

As we all know, there are serious problems in our financial segment which means everything we do, everything we touch will be or is being affected by this. The democrats pointed the finger at the republicans and said they were to blame for this package not going through. Wrong - we all know the dems have control of the house and senate. Many of those who are up for election just could not pull the yay trigger on this today. They didn't just bail out themselves - it was because Americans flooded their representatives' phones and said "no" to the bailout package. For Nancy Pelosi to go in front of the Senate and point her finger at the Bush administration and the republicans for their lack of support was clueless. With the dems controlling both houses, they just needed to support her on the vote. Maybe she's not the leader she thinks she is.

I spent most of my day off listening to this on the radio and many different reports on television to monitor what's going on. There was a group of (I believe) dems and repubs who make up a group with skepticism on this piece of business. The guy speaking told the story about how this bill was going to do more to bail out the top executives and those responsible for this. It also would not be good for us.

Watch this week - this was a political stunt - I'm betting they have positioned this for Obama to ride in on a horse and rescue this. Guess we'll see...
